Everywhere Magazine

Everywhere
Everywhere is a unique travel magazine that puts the very best images, stories, and places submitted from a diverse online community into a beautiful printed magazine that is distributed internationally.  This magazine arrived in my mailbox today, and I'm very excited to read it.  It's the like the "jpgmag.com" of travel, that the contributors are YOU, and you could end up being published.  Here's how it works:

Visit wonderful places, experience them fully, take lots of photos.

Contribute3 3. Upload
Upload your travel tales and photos to EverywhereMag.com

Contribute4 4. Peer review
The community votes on travel stories, photos and favorite places.

Contribute5 5. Final selection
Our editors curate each issue from the best of the best.

Amazon Kindle

Bezoskindle_2Dear Jeff,
Sony has beat you to it.  It's called something a bit more meaningful: Portable Reader System.  And Sony is in the manufacturing of consumer electronics business.  It costs $279, it's no bigger than a paperback and it's NOT white!

How on earth did you convince BW to write an article on reinventing books? Because your device integrates blog and content from the web in addition to downloading books?  Isn't that what my BlackBerry, iPod or iPhone is for?  Wait...what's that?  Did you say "Amazon Whispernet?" You actually pay for Kindle's wireless connectivity? Wow.  Amazing.  Let me check my coverage area first. Not bad.  No monthly wireless bills, service plans, or commitments either? Amazing!

Will it succeed?  Not sure.

Blog001 (pronounced "Blog One")

Carryon Flight 001 was named after a Pan Am flight which allowed you to travel around the globe in 48 hours. We can now surf the internets (yes, i used "s") in a fraction of that time, visiting sites from around the globe...all without ever leaving our seats.

The New Blog

Blog 001 was conceived to consolidate all the blogs I have maintained in the past, covering a wide arena of topics: Geek, Tech, Travel, Video, Photo, Gadget, Style, Fashion.

It is now just one blog.  Safe blogging.

Welcome to the Real Ricky Montalvo

SfOk so here it is, my Official personal blog.  This is where I can kick off my shoes, pour myself a stiff Vodka Tonic, turn on the music and let loose.

I currently manage the following blogs:
TheDailyGeek.tv - My "Technosexual" geekery style site.
1-18-08.tv - A blog dedicated to the mystery movie 1-18-08.com
Disposable Film.com - My professional video freelance site.

Why did I create yet another blog you ask?  Well it's simple really.  Sometimes I have a personal opinion that I am hesitant to share on TDG.tv, like the subject of "Lifecasting", which...don't even get me started...I think is THE dumbest idea ever.  And the people doing it, are Web 2.0's version of Paris Hilton and an Asian version of....hmmm, nothing comes to mind. Ok, I digress...basically I want this blog to be the place where I can say what I want to say.  Period.  The sites I currently managed are great but they aren't forums for my own selfish opinion.  So sit back, take  drink, and hear me rant.
